Wedding Hairstyle Inspiration from the Runway Spring 2011

The wedding hairstylists for the wedding day from the runway spring 2011. Above, collection inspired by the gardens of Paris, hair was given a deep side part, then pulled into a low side ponytail on the opposite side, and secured with both fabric and real orchids. Below, sexy, screen siren hair ruled the runways at Junko, with models wearing glamorous Veronica Lake waves.

Hair was curled and set for volume, then finger-combed back into a low ponytail and pinned up in two-inch sections to create a loose-but-polished chignon.

For an earthy but glamorous look, hair was curled then roughed up with Aveda’s Pure Abundance Hair Potion, which produced a texturized, matte finish. Pinning it loosely to the side completed the romantic “undone” updo.

The loosely-pinned chignons had an unfussy feel that felt fresh and laid-back.
