The Grandest Party Luxurious Indian Wedding Reception at Museum Ellis Island
A museum on Ellis Island is transformed into a epic, Indian wedding reception with luxurious details. This they wed during a traditional Hindu ceremony at Battery Gardens Restaurant, in lower Manhattan above and afterward, the couple and their guests boarded a ferry to Ellis Island it was the perfect location below.
The a jeweled fuchsia choli and lehenga (skirt and blouse), and an heirloom tikka (head ornament).
The reception was held at the Ellis Island Immigration Museum, and the room was lit with a bright, rose-colored wash by Bestek Lighting & Staging.
Tables featured tall centerpieces of dahlias, garden roses, hydrangeas, lemon leaves, and carnations surrounded by votive candles. The floral design was by Jessy Wolvek of Fleurs NYC.
