Fall 2012 Designer Sketches of Wedding Dresses

As a taste of things to come, we asked some of our favorite designers for a glimpse at the sketches of wedding dresses they’ll debut on the runways next week at Fall 2012 New York bridal market. Above, modern day glamour in mind, design team decided to create a luxurious and dramatic gown using shimmering draped tulle. Below, embodies ethereal modern femininity, is cut from rich silks like high-sheen taffeta and light-weight silk organza that feels like chiffon.

The “dreamy, fresh, and airy” Vinieris created an elongated pleated organza bodice with a layered asymmetrical pickup skirt and a textured ruffle cascading across the body into a single shoulder strap.

Sophisticated elegance and glamour feature embellished silhouettes with blossoms and petals, and textured skirts, from pleated organza tiers and ruffles to oversized 3D flowers.

Mermaid gown combines the glamour of the 1950s with the fluidity of the 1970s with the hourglass silhouette beaded flowers, and an array of glittering belts.
