“Let there be light” That wedding dresses for Fall 2012 from Reem Acra’s show, a collection of airy dresses made from layer upon layer of transparent fabrics. With laser-cut detailing provided a fresh alternative to heavier lace, and silk petals gave the dresses botanical charm. These beading was a major element with the embellishments provided striking illumination, as on a tulle mermaid stunner that combined a deep V-neck with a completely beaded illusion back. A variety of floral headbands in shades of ivory and lavender were the perfect accessories for these dresses, creating a soft look for the modern bride.
